The pastry case
The honeycomb croissant is what most people come for, and it delivers. The layers are distinct, the exterior is genuinely crispy, and the butter flavour comes through without being heavy. I worked through several options across the visit: the salted egg yolk was rich and savoury with a clean finish, the smoked salmon was well-balanced and restrained, the garlic butter was exactly what it should be, the ham and cheese was a proper European-style rendition, and the matcha croffle brought the two flavours together without letting either one disappear. The baking quality across all of them was consistent, which is harder to achieve than it sounds.

The iced matcha latte is clean and straightforward. The powder reads genuine: bright in colour, grassy in flavour, and not oversweetened. It's not trying to be a specialty matcha bar, but it's made with the same care that runs through the rest of the menu. As a pairing with the pastries, it works well.
